Strahov 8

The aim was to find a seating solution for a university dormitory with consideration for ergonomics, efficient manufacturing, affordability, durability, and aesthetic appeal. The design consists of two parts: a load-bearing structure made of bent steel tubes and a seat produced using injection-molded plastic technology. Their shape was derived from organic structural forms, which were gradually transformed into a geometric arrangement suitable both for model production and for the intended mass-produced product.
