WOODPOP DARA AWARD

The assignment was to design a trophy for the best timber building across various architectural categories. The project emerged as a metaphorical exploration of the relationship between material, movement, and human craftsmanship. It is inspired by wood as a living, malleable material whose capacity for bending and transformation allows for the search for new forms and meanings. The key motif is the arch—a symbol of connection that appears both in architecture and in organic structures, as well as in principles of interlacing characteristic of the Dara knot.
