Jewelry - another layer of protection against sexually transmitted diseases for WSW

This project builds on my bachelor's thesis, in which I addressed the lack of practical and accessible protective equipment against sexually transmitted diseases during sex between women. The goal was to create a solution that would provide safety without compromising intimacy or comfort. While my bachelor's thesis addressed functional barrier protection, this project expands the topic to include the symbolic and social aspects of safety, identity, and visibility. The jewelry acts as an additional layer of protection—not a physical barrier in itself, but facilitating its use and normalizing its presence.
