Annotation

The design of the public library in Lannova Park is based on the historically established principle of concentrating important institutions along the Vltava River in Prague. The river functions as the cultural axis of the city, which the project seeks to build on. The library in the park functions as an open institution. It is not perceived as a formal and closed object, but as a public place suitable for spending time. Its function naturally complements the park as a space for everyday use.
