ÚSTÍ NAD LABEM – NOVÉ PŘEDLICE
Annotation
The Předlice district is located on the western edge of Ústí nad Labem and represents an area with significant transformation potential. Originally an industrial neighborhood shaped by factories, warehouses, and railway infrastructure, it is undergoing a transition into a new urban structure that combines housing, services and public amenities. The design concept is based on the route of a former railway spur, transformed into a green backbone with interconnected public spaces and local centers. The proposal preserves valuable historic buildings, including the former slaughterhouse complex, while simultaneously creating a new identity for the district. A cluster of high-rise buildings in the southern area known as the Portal serves as a landmark, symbolizing the new future of Nové Předlice
