The northern foothills of Prague Castle

This seminar focuses on an analysis of the northern foothills of Prague Castle, which serves as the basis for defining the topic of the thesis. The thesis critically examines both the problems and the hidden values of the area and seeks to answer the question of how to meaningfully breathe new life into it. The goal is to integrate this neglected interface into the fabric of contemporary Prague, spatially connect it, and imbue it with a new functional purpose. After all, the historic walls no longer need to pretend to be impregnable—it is time to transform this barrier into a vibrant and accessible urban interface.
