Between the walls and the moat
Annotation
A blind garden, cut off from its sister. Once they formed a single whole; today fences and walls divide them. One has closed itself to the world, the other has lost its purpose, yet both still look toward the Castle and know they belong together. It would take little to open the gates and bring life back to where time has stopped.
Paths now ending at fences would reconnect the historic houses with the garden and reopen forgotten places. Smaller homes for Castle staff, water management, and blue-green oases in courtyards and squares would restore rhythm to the space, cool the air, and support the natural landscape cycle. Lights in windows, footsteps on paths, services, and cafés would gradually bring the garden back to life.
