Two-Faced

I chose the city of Monaco for my gardens because of what the people and culture of the city represent to me. I see Monaco as a symbol of wealth and there is a large concentration of millionaires. I believe that you cannot be so extremely rich and ethical about it. A person gains such an amount of money mainly through the exploitation of employees, natural resources and the like. In my design, I wanted to capture the contrast between this facade of wealth and prosperity and what is actually behind the profit.
