FOLDING COT
Annotation
A reinterpretation of a foldable American camp bed from the World War II era. The original geometry has been reworked, with subtle widening and lengthening that significantly enhances comfort during rest. The supporting frame consists of ash wood profiles treated with clear oil. The joints, made from custom-designed, machine-cut, and bent stainless steel parts,
together with screws, firmly bind the entire structure. The bed’s canvas is made from a reused, old, discarded tarpaulin. The accessory is a shoulder bag made from my grandfather’s old coat.
