Jelení příkop - Concept for the Northern Forecourt of Prague Castle — WALKING, GROWING, FLOWING

A hidden valley in the heart of Prague. The design restores the balance between people, nature, and water. After one hundred and fifty years, it reconnects all parts of the Jelení příkop. I walk from the lower Jelení příkop all the way to the newly opened New World moat. From flowering undergrowth to towering trees, I grow and come alive once more. I flow again beneath an open sky, spreading into the landscape. The design works with three interconnected layers — permeability, vegetation, and the Brusnice stream — complemented throughout by the visitor's perspective. The site is divided into four distinct zones, each designed through all three layers simultaneously.
