The new Ruchadlo

The design of the cultural core of the Zájezd area in Česká Skalice is based on the profound social significance of the site, which has naturally evolved over the years through the activities of local residents and volunteer firefighters. The original orchard was gradually transformed into a vibrant community hub — from a provisional clubhouse created from a donated wooden structure to today’s pub and sports complex serving both locals and tourists passing through Česká Skalice. The proposal builds upon this tradition of spontaneous development and seeks to preserve the community spirit of the place while also responding to the current needs and potential of the entire area.
