BeReal BeBraník

The proposal focuses on connecting three currently separate parts of Braník, with an emphasis on feasibility and a sensitive approach to the area that avoids large-scale interventions. The main principle is to improve the area’s accessibility by calming traffic on Modřanská Street and overcoming the barrier posed by the Jižní spojka highway. A key element of the design is a pedestrian bridge that connects to the main pedestrian boulevard and links the new area with old Braník. Further connections are provided by two green landscape bridges, which facilitate movement for pedestrians and cyclists while also connecting the surrounding green spaces. The newly proposed development adds office space and residential capacity to the area, creating a mixed-use, polycentric urban environment.
