House in the hole Hastalska 24

The subject of the documentation is a new multifunctional building on Haštalská Street in Prague. The existing ground-floor structure is preserved and directly integrated into the building's mass. The object (1 underground, 8 above-ground floors) combines a café and study rooms (1st–4th floors) with eight residential units (5th–8th floors). The basement serves as a technological facility. The load-bearing system is monolithic reinforced concrete, founded on micropiles. The structure provides static bridging over the original building.
