The project transforms the site of the former municipal slaughterhouse, built in 1929 according to the design of architect Bohumil Waigant, into a modern Re-use center. The architectural solution is based on the principle of inserted structures and a maximum effort to recycle existing objects.
Original distinctive elements from cooling systems and steel profiles to window frames, staircases, or industrial lamps do not end up as construction waste. Through RE-location and RE-design, they acquire a new function and become key elements of the interior.
