Railway stations as a city-forming element

This analytical work, prepared as a preparation for a diploma thesis, focuses on examining the typology of railway stations and their transformation over time. The aim of the work is to analyze the role of railway stations from the perspective of architecture, urban planning and to create a theoretical framework for the design of a new railway station in the Czech Republic.
