Church and Square of Prášily The project is about the reintegration of spiritual and public space on the site of a shelled church in Prášily, Šumava. The new church volumetrically reinterprets the original structure, employing engineered timber and traditional Šumava wooden shingles; glass blocks modulate light as interpretation of stained glass. A glass floor provides visual access to the preserved church foundations, connecting the building to the memory of the site. The urban design proposal completes the missing village centre — a square with a municipal office, visitor information centre, and new residential units intended for permanent residents.
