The Bloom

Rising 276m above Shenzhen, this vertical campus is a living ecosystem where architecture students "bloom." Reimagining the university as a high-rise on a 48x48m grid, it features a public-facing ground lobby with a café and exhibition space. Up to the 50m mark, an annex creates a communal base. The Faculty of Architecture spans up to 80m, using an open-space layout that links studios, labs, and four lecture halls. At 80m, a skybridge connects to a neighboring tower, transitioning into a private realm: a multi-story Wellbeing Center with a food hall, gym, and terraces. Above, dorms form nine "Vertical Villages" three-floor residential hubs with shared kitchens and social rooms around a central atrium.
