MAGNOLIA

The MAGNOLIA Support Centre is designed for couples who have lost a child or are struggling to conceive. It offers a peaceful place for professional help, understanding, faith, and a community of people with a similar experience. Located in a quiet area near Horský Park in Bratislava, the centre uses the surrounding greenery to create an atmosphere of calm, healing, and hope. Its public space is designed as an orchard of blossoming trees, symbolising people who also pass through different seasons, yet can grow and blossom again when given the right conditions. The three buildings – the therapy centre, community centre, and chapel – express a journey from closure, through gradual opening, towards acceptance.
