DEFORMED

The project is located in an urban area. Therefore, the design focuses not only on the building itself, but also on the urban context surrounding it. The main concept is based on placing the building on a water surface as a solitary island, creating a strong relationship between the architecture and the river. On the street side, a park is designed to gradually descend towards the water level, creating a smooth transition between the public space and the natural environment. The form of the building consists of two glass platforms and pyramid-shaped skylights that bring daylight into the interior while also defining the spaces of the pools located beneath them.
