FRAMEXCAMPUS

FRAMEXCAMPUS transforms the post-industrial ČSA quarry in Most into a cross-border campus for renewable energy and ecological transition, uniting programs from Czech Technical University in Prague and TU Dresden. Positioned between a former mining pit and a natural reservoir park, the campus forms a gateway to a future residential district through three stacked volumes surrounding a shared triangular courtyard. The wider site becomes an active energy landscape: pumped hydro storage, solar fields, and wind turbines generate up to 56 GWh annually, powering nearly half of Most’s households. At its center, a Learning Center anchors new research, education, and clean-tech economies, redefining the quarry as a shared threshold between industry, sustainability, and regional renewal.
