Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

The Hive is a 279-meters tall cultural skyscraper in Shenzhen, rising across 56 floors. A bold concrete diagrid wraps the curved façade, carrying the structure on the outside so the interior stays open and light. The tower brings creative production into one vertical address — fashion ateliers, graphic and digital studios, recording rooms, gaming and AI labs, robotics workshops. These are organised into three stacked clusters: Image and Object, Sound and Screen, Tech and Digital. Each cluster follows the same logic — a sky lobby where the finished product is shown, studios above where the work is made, and an event space where the making becomes a performance. The ground holds a maker market and semi-public garden beside the park; the top a public viewing deck over the city.
