The originally classicist building from the mid-19th century is being cleaned of extensions and built-ins, which are mostly from the 1990s. The three staircases on the outside of the building are from the mid-20th century, but I perceive them as disturbing structures for the pure form of the original building. I replaced them with vertical communication, which I placed inside the building. In this implementation project, I am making drawings of a new building, which is connected to the original building by a glass neck, into which a steel staircase is inserted. This extension serves as an entrance, gift-shop and café to the newly created lapidary and gallery in the old reconstructed building, exhebiting the works of students from art schools, located in the main building of the barracks.
