Smíchov View

Annotation

The project brings the building of the town spa a dignified completion of the river front in the Smíchov area, seamlessly connecting to the already existing park and waterfront. The building is designed as a combination of two geometric masses, a cylinder and a block, imitating the compositional silhouette Vyšehrad with Výtoňský bridge. The architectural appearance of the building is inspired by the arches of the Výtoň Bridge and at the same time by the classical architecture of the spa buildings. The design responds to the noisy and chaotic nature of the site, placing all usage to the underground floor. The main entrance is located in the rectangular part of the building, followed by the main infinity pool. Dressing rooms and wellness facilities are located below the street level.
