Urban Renewal Libčice

The project reimagines a former industrial brownfield as a vibrant residential district that seamlessly connects the city, landscape, and riverfront. Inspired by the area's industrial heritage and existing urban fabric, the design transforms large superblocks into a network of smaller blocks, courtyards, and public spaces. New pedestrian routes and a bridge improve accessibility and reconnect previously isolated areas. Building heights gradually step down towards the river, opening attractive views and creating a dynamic, contemporary neighborhood with a strong local identity.
