City and river

The design is based on the idea of a continuous route connecting key locations along the Vltava and through the city's inner structure. The circuit ties the proposed interventions into a coherent whole - a pedestrian and cycling backbone that opens access to the river and connects Holešovice to the broader urban context. The southern bank is activated by a new riverfront promenade at the Holešovice Market. The route continues through the new residential quarter on the spit, while a footbridge across the harbour links to the existing network. To the north, the circuit follows a tranquil recreational waterfront, passes through Královská obora and continues along the Engel Strip. Crossing Letná opens up views and integrates the route into the city-wide network.
