Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

The project explores the skyscraper as an architecture of time, memory, and emotion inspired by the cinematic language of Wong Kar-wai. Rather than replicating the visual aesthetics of his films, the design translates their spatial qualities—layered thresholds, repetition, intimacy, and controlled light—into architectural form. The facade acts as a filter between the fast-paced city and the quieter interior of the tower. Through deep openings, reflections, translucent surfaces, and a double-skin envelope, the building creates a cinematic experience that emphasizes movement, perception, and the passage of time. The result is a skyscraper that functions not only as a vertical structure, but also as an emotional and spatial narrative.
