Playground drinking fountain

This project responds to children neglecting hydration on outdoor playgrounds due to a lack of suitable drinking fountains. The aim was to create a solution that prevents this issue and motivates children to stay hydrated in a welcoming, intuitive way. During development, strict emphasis was placed on safety standards, ergonomics for children aged 6 to 12, and supporting their independence. The result is a functional, multi-level drinking fountain with a clean design. It combines a durable stainless-steel structure with soft petals made of colorful EPDM rubber, which cushions impacts and prevents injuries. Additionally, the fountain features anti-vandal elements and a self-closing button to prevent water waste.
