ROCKY

Nature, comfort, and convenience. Situated on the riverbank, the sheltered housing project aims to create a quiet environment that is closely tied to nature, whilst providing amenities for both social and daily life. The clients stay in comfortable individual flats organized around shared living spaces, thereby creating smaller communities living together like families. The landscape riverside park penetrates the block and carves the building into a shape resembling the rocks across the river. This structure creates a series of gardens and terraces with several cozy nooks. The interiors open towards vistas overlooking the greenery and river through large windows. Between nature and the health and social services of a nursing home, this project provides its clients with a true home.
