TRAIL OF NON-VISUAL IDENTITY
Annotation
Identity in design is often associated with the word “visual”. We decided to explore the opposite, namely what non-visual design identity is and what it means. Through our research, we discovered the richness of non-visual aspects of design. However, these are often overshadowed by the dominance of visual perception. The result of our design was a trail that guided visitors through the design studios. As you walked along the trail and interacted at station points, you were introduced to non-visual identity in design. The goal of the project was to offer a different perspective on design and provide space for reflection. We combined the trail’s launch with the design vernissage. This event brought together people with diverse perspectives (designers) and created a space for discussion.
