Hollow heads - forest glass

Forest glass has a color and consistency that looks as if it grew right in the forest. Smelters from the 14th/15th century St. they were in the middle of forests and glassmakers used local raw materials, water and sand or ash. Glass therefore contains substances that are part of plants and water. I wanted to create glasses from a forest environment that would look as if they had grown there. The hollowhead lichen is like a chalice into which the morning dew pours or the rain catches. It's a forest cup, a goblet. I was inspired by hollowheads and from their proportions and growth method, after many versions, I came up with a model that looked elegant, was based on hollowheads, had the given volume of a liqueur and the center of gravity was in the right place. I created plaster molds.
