Cap

The project responds to the Summer Semester 2026 assignment to create an original merch. The goal was to move beyond a generic promotional item with a logo and instead deliver a piece with a distinct idea and creative value. My final concept is an accessory in the form of a cap. Rather than designing another redundant object, I focused on a daily studio ritual—searching for and putting away pencils—as well as the humorous habit of tucking a pencil behind one's ear. My approach is based on the belief that the best visual identity stems from real functionality. Our faculty is full of creative people who prefer not to wear oversized logos but instead appreciate clever, thoughtful design.
