Campus Albertov - Housing for Students

Student dormitory is one of key building for campus Albertov in Prague. The building brings a new perspective to the region, which is using the campus besides the main educational period. Student housing is located near the town fortifications. The concept of the house stems from the characteristics of Albertov, a place with many walls, courtyards and stairs. The house on the north side forms a wall with pillars and stairs that pass through the courtyard and opens an intimate space with greenery and a terrace. The building is made by the system of the porchies leading to the rooms. In the future, students' dormitories could serve thanks to their two equalizing passages as the link between the planned footpath along the wall and campus in conection with Bastion and residential greenery. Respectively, the construction of the dormitory could support the shift of this hiking route around the fortification.
