The FA brings together researchers, teachers and practitioners dealing with architecture, urbanism, urban planning, landscape and design. Research activities cover ten research areas and are usually conducted under the guidance of professors and associate professors in departments. Part of the Faculty is the Industrial Heritage Research Center and the FA Research Center, which focuses on interdisciplinary research.

  • History and theory of architecture (especially medieval and modern architecture, vernacular architecture, industrial heritage, modern, post-war and contemporary architecture, conservation)
