Stavoprojekt 1948–1953 - book launch and a commentary-guided tour
Presentation of an extensive critical exhibition catalogue and a guided tour of the exhibition. Curators and architectural historians Petr Vorlík and Jan Zikmund will introduce the origins and parameters of nationalized architectural practice in the first postwar years in Czechoslovakia.
Organized by Department of Theory and History of Architecture together with the National Archives. The event will be held in the Czech language.

Round-table discussions
Short lectures by culturologist Miroslav Pavel and architectural historian Veronika Vicherková on the shaping of the Czechoslovak landscape and countryside during the first Five-Year Plan will be complemented, in a panel discussion, by contemporary perspectives from urban architect Darja Balejová and landscape architect Zuzana Štemberová. The discussion will be moderated by architecture theorist Jiří Tourek.
Organized by Department of Theory and History of Architecture together with the National Archives. The event will be held in the Czech language.
