METROPOLITAN HOUSE VINOHRADY

The theme of diploma project is the Vinohrady's metropolitan house. The goal is to find an adequate solution how to complete the block structure at the street crossings of "Slezská" and "Blanická" streets. Nowadays the project's site is one of the last unbuilt ones in the Vinohrady's united structure. The site neighbours with a few important buildings of 20th century. Our task will be to create contemporary building which can stand next to these buildings and to answer the questions how could the modern living in prestigious location could look like and how intervene in historical city structure.
