KARLOVY VARY - COLONNADE

The diploma thesis deals with the spa center in Karlovy Vary. The site is solved as a complex space, which fits into the surrounding structure of public spaces and brings new activities and experiences. The essence of the proposal is based on the genius loci of the place and the Hot Spring as a symbol of the city, which appropriately joins into the place and is returned to its dignity by the design of the new Hot Spring Colonnade. The colonnade respects its meaning and typology, but it brings its present form. It links the place and layers and becomes a continuation of the public space.
