RETIREMENT HOUME, PRAHA 2 - VINOHRADY

The aim of the project is to create a quiet and safe place for non-self-sufficient but also self-sufficient seniors. In my design, I am trying to create an environment that provides a variety of spaces to meet and enable the activation of seniors. Thanks to the specific properties of the land, such as sloping terrain or location at slope above the Main Station, the rooms have views of Rieger´s orchards or the center of Prague. Retirement home creates a sense of home and security and it is important that the house is part of its surroundings, does not isolate the elderly, but allows them to watch and engage in everyday life. Various services are designed in the retirement home, which are intended for seniors but also for the public.
