REVITALIZATION OF THE SITE KLAMOVKA IN PRAGUE

The subject of my diploma thesis is the central space of Košíře between main roads of the west city of Prague, concretely the streets of Vrchlického and Plzeňská. The Motol Valley is full of contradictions. It has a strong history connected to vineyards on its green hills. Nowadays, it is a good traffic hub, but there is no incentive for locals to spend their time in public spaces. In the project, I define a new city subcenter Klamovka, refill urban structure and solve problems with unpermeability and inhospitability of the public spaces. My solution is a new square and a conversion of the central object of carriage which is a part of this new subcenter.
