CITY SWIMMING POOL SMÍCHOVSKÁ NÁPLAVKA

The theme of the diploma project was to design a swimming pool in the city center. An obligatory program was an indoor 50 m long swimming pool with year-round operation. Furthermore, the pool should have the possibility of outdoor sunbathing and refreshments, an educational pool for schools and possibly a range of recreational services for relaxation. The plot on Smíchovská náplavka near the Vyšehrad Bridge was chosen as a suitable place. An equally important topic is the relationship of the pool to the embankment and the river.
