Erasmus Exhibition
Gallery

Annotation
The design of the exhibition gallery at the Mayrau Mine Museum is centered on transforming the existing compressor hall. The structure has been preserved in its original form, while a system of semi-transparent platforms has been introduced to fluidly divide the space into two distinct levels, optimizing the use of natural light.
The facade is predominantly transparent, featuring curtain walls and two types of bricks: one type echoes the original building and the traditional structures of the old mine site, while the other type is glass, representing the modernity of the new building.
Most of the interior space is dedicated to exhibitions, which can vary in nature due to the versatility of the design. After visiting the exhibits, guests can relax at a bar behind the building.
my key experience from erasmus
Spending my Erasmus semester in Prague was truly unforgettable; this experience allowed me to learn a different approach to architecture.
It was the perfect mix of learning, fun, and cultural exchange. I’ll always cherish the memories and friendships made during this incredible experience.
