Woven Together - Masterplan for Hisingen island

Annotation
The aim of Woven Together is to enhance Hisingen’s potential for vibrant urban life by promoting mixed-use development that integrates both existing and new buildings. By introducing new tram lines, the plan facilitates stronger connections, encourages pedestrian activity, and supports the emergence of new urban centers on the island. Additionally, it creates opportunities to link green areas, promoting ecological continuity and providing habitats for various species.
To further improve accessibility, a new bridge is proposed between Lindholmen and Stenpiren. This crossing is envisioned as a central urban node—welcoming people to Hisingen with high density, a mix of uses, public spaces, and a blend of historical and contemporary architecture. Along the waterfront, soft edges and wetlands.
my key experience from erasmus
My Erasmus at Chalmers was an incredibly enriching experience. The academic environment is highly international, and the entire Master’s program is taught in English. This allows you to meet many international students while being treated exactly the same as all other students. The semester is divided into two parts: in the first part, we had two courses (for 5 and 10 credits), and in the second part, only the design studio (15 credits). Education in Sweden is structured quite differently, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance, so you never feel overwhelmed with schoolwork.
