Where will we live? Not just within the walls of our apartments, but in the space that surrounds us. In the public space that shapes our everyday lives. Who does this space serve? Is it for everyone, or has it become the domain of a select few who have claimed it as their own? How do we use it? How do we wish to use it? Am I even welcome there? How can we challenge the ingrained patterns that prevent us from fully embracing it? Where does "mine"end, and "ours" begin? How can we help create something that belongs to everyone while preserving our individuality? What do I want? A place to meet neighbors, share a few words, sit with a book, and simply pause. A space where children can play, and we can be alone or together with friends. A place that welcomes us and makes us feel like we belong.
