Multifunctional house on Linecká street

The proposed ensemble of three mixed-use buildings is located on a plot in Český Krumlov, on Linecká Street. The project responds to the site’s advantageous position within the town and reflects the character of the surrounding built environment, incorporating elements of traditional architecture. The ground floor of the buildings is designed for commercial and office use, while the upper floors accommodate ten residential units of 2-room layouts with kitchenettes. Each unit has a small private front garden and direct access to a shared courtyard. The urban concept is based on separating the busy street from a calm inner courtyard using the building masses. The loosened arrangement of the volumes creates intimate pockets and encourages a communal atmosphere within the courtyard.
