KUNSTHALLE - Hradec Kralove

I designed the Kunsthalle in the courtyard in Hradec Králové as a raised, linear object that passes through the space and connects two existing passages. The visitor enters the gallery via a staircase, directly into the exhibition space, while the ground floor remains free to pass through. The remainder of the courtyard serves as a covered parking and rest area. At the church, I have preserved one of the original buildings and transformed it into a community space. This created a place to meet, sit and project onto the façade of the church - a cultural facility set in a vibrant urban environment.
