Market hall in a BURROW

The market is located under the Nusel Bridge, near the Folimanka Park and Vyšehrad. Its distinctive wave shape, which rises slightly in height and then drops below the ground, contrasts with the strict linearity of the bridge. Thanks to its shape, the roof of the market hall also serves as a grandstand overlooking the projection screen located on the pillars, this allows the space to be used as a night cinema. The entrance to the market is designed as a tunnel that connects the Oldřichova Street. This tunnel, made of red circular elements, serves as the main thoroughfare of the market. It leads down to the underground area of the market itself. This building looks monumental, like the bridge itself, with the basic geometric shapes - circle, square, wave and straight line - emphasised.
