KUNSTHALLE HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ

The Kunsthalle exhibition project is located in an inner courtyard in Hradec Králové, where it introduces a new cultural and architectural impulse. The building's form emerges from the intersection, connection, and unification of circles or their segments. It is composed of circular and segmental exhibition rooms, whose flexible shapes allow for a wide range of curatorial approaches. The use of circular and cylindrical principles is reflected not only in the secondary structures within the exhibition spaces but also in the design of separate relaxation zones or lecture rooms. The exhibition areas are illuminated exclusively from above through roof skylights.
