Healing Grounds

With a cup of coffee in your hand, you look at the river and listen to your friend talk excitedly. Ripples shimmer under the sunlight, and a light breeze rustles the branches. In the distance, you hear laughter and snippets of conversation. People greet each other, walk along the river, and sit beneath the trees. You let time pass. The water washes away your worries, bringing you peace. But don't be fooled. You're sitting in a place that was recently hit by destructive flooding. That's why a new space has been created to help the city and its people heal. The purpose of the design for Lądek-Zdrój is to get people closer to the water, so they can experience it and benefit from it in the town centre, not only in the spa. New functions and connections help to heal the town and community.
