Kyselka Lookout Tower

Bc. Eliška Kohoutová

Annotation

The Kyselka Lookout Tower offers four viewpoints, each from a different level. It stands on the edge of the town of Želenice and its shape resembles a hunting blind – the visitor is partially hidden behind a wooden cladding: they can see out, but are not easily seen in return. The tower is nearly 24 meters tall and its name refers to the nearby Kyselka spring. From its tiered platforms, one can view Želenice Hill, Bořeň, Ovčí vrch (Sheep Hill), and the town of Bílina. A distinctive feature of the tower is its wooden slat cladding, which frames and defines the views.
