Exhibition of Studio Projects
ŽIŽKOV LIBRARY

Annotation
The library was built on the site of a former freight railway station, replacing the original front building with a new space for gathering, learning, and culture. At its heart is a bright atrium inspired by the idea of the former intersections of railway tracks and flows of goods – now a place where the paths of people, stories, and ideas converge. The atrium connects study areas, community zones, and outdoor terraces.
On the ground floor, a café, bookstore, children’s library, and lecture hall expand the building’s use - from quiet reading to cultural and educational events.
