Annotation

Botič, Prague’s second-longest stream, is a neglected yet valuable part of the city. This project focuses on the section from Grébovka to its confluence with the Vltava, aiming to improve accessibility and restore the stream as a public space. A continuous pedestrian path is proposed, with new footbridges and seating by the water. The key intervention is the uncovering of the culverted streambed in Vnislavova Street and the Výtoň area, reducing car traffic and prioritizing pedestrians. The design reconnects the city with its watercourse and enhances the urban environment.
